It is the first question everyone asks, and any shop that quotes you a single number before seeing your car is guessing. What we can do is show you exactly what moves the price, so the quote you do get makes sense.
The five things that set the price
Size and shape: a Jimny and a RAM 2500 are different planets. More surface area means more film and more hours, and complex curves take longer than flat panels.
The film itself: a gloss black from a premium brand costs less than a colour-shift or a textured finish, and coloured PPF sits above vinyl because the film does double duty as protection.
Coverage: roof-only and accent wraps cost a fraction of a full colour change. Chrome deletes and part-wraps are great entry points.
Condition and prep: paint damage has to be dealt with first, film exaggerates whatever is underneath it.
The detail level: door jambs, shuts and removed badges separate a show-quality wrap from a quick flip. We only do it one way.
Getting a real number
As a guide, full colour changes at PIMPMYCAR start from $4,500, with roof wraps, accents and chrome deletes coming in well under that. Send us your make and model, a few photos and the finish you are dreaming about, and we will come back with a fixed quote, usually within a day. No pressure, no lock-in, and the quote includes everything: prep, removal of trims, edges tucked, the lot.
A quality wrap protects your paint and peels off clean, so a chunk of the spend comes back in resale value. The cheap version that lifts at the edges in six months is the expensive one.
