Full-Body PPF: Is Wrapping the Whole Car Worth It?

Catch us on the gram

Paint protection film is the best armour going for your paint, but it is not cheap, and the first question is always the same: do I need to do the whole car, or just the front? Honest answer, most people do not need full-body. But some absolutely should.

Here is how we help owners draw the line.

What a front-end pack already covers

The vast majority of stone chips land on the bonnet, bumper, guards and mirrors, the stuff pointing into the wind. A front-end or "track pack" covers exactly that, stops most of the damage a car will ever see, and costs a fraction of doing the lot.

For a lot of daily drivers, that is the sweet spot: protect where it gets hit, spend the savings elsewhere.

When full-body makes sense

Full-body earns its money on cars where every panel is at risk or every panel is expensive. Think high-value performance and exotic cars, anything you plan to keep long-term, cars with soft or hard-to-match paint, and colours like matte or satin that cannot simply be buffed.

It also wraps door edges, sills and load areas that a front pack skips, the spots that quietly collect chips and scratches over years. On the right car, it keeps the paint literally untouched.
