A few years ago a pink car was a dare. Now it is a movement, and our studios have become a bit famous for them. Some of our most-loved builds of the past year have been pink, and every single one gets photographed at the lights.
The pink hall of fame
The Audi TT in custom pearl pink that flips between pink and white depending on the angle. The Toyota 86 in metallic satin pink with gloss black accents. A Suzuki Jimny in full bubblegum, which took serious prep because white to pink is never easy. And a Tesla Model Y in baby pink metallic that was literally a Christmas present.
Making pink work
Light colours over dark paint need careful prep and sometimes a base layer so the shade stays true on every panel. Edges, jambs and shuts matter twice as much when the colour change is this dramatic. That is studio work, not driveway work.
If you have been quietly thinking about it: yes, it will turn heads, and yes, it peels off clean if you ever change your mind. That is the beauty of a wrap. Life is short. Drive a pink car.
