Every so often an owner says the magic words: "do the lot." This SRT was one of those. It came in as a fast car in ordinary clothes, and the brief was simple, make it as loud to look at as it is to drive.
So we built it in layers, and each one changed the car a little more than the last.
A colour you cannot ignore
The centrepiece was a satin wrap in a custom tiffany-leaning shade, the kind of colour that stops people mid-footpath. Satin was the right call: enough sheen to show the SRT's aggressive lines, none of the glare, so it reads menacing rather than flashy.
Every shut, edge and jamb was wrapped and tucked, because a colour this bold only works if there is not a speck of the old paint peeking through anywhere.
The details that finished it
Then the blackout: every piece of brightwork, the grille surrounds, badges and window trims, deleted to gloss black so nothing fought the colour. Tints went on to match, dark down the back for that show-car stance, legal up front.
A final show-day detail and it was done. Standing next to it, you would never guess it rolled in looking like every other one on the lot.
